Bota By Night: Rabit + Bianca Scout + Demdike Stare + more

On the program: UK club pioneers Demdike Stare, who approach genres such as jungle, dub, and ambient with a punk attitude in their new AV show "Baselines." Also to look out for are multimedia artist Zoë McPherson, whose sounds and polyrhythms seem to constantly change shape, and Bianca Scout, a musician, dancer, and performance artist who creates avant-pop out of ambient, post-punk, and other slightly awkward genres. Who better to get the party started than Brussels wildcat Daisy Ray with her infectious stage presence? She closes the Museum, which opens with the latest Stroom signeé and her abstract winter soundscapes.

Over on the dance floor, Rabit, known for his collaborations with Björk and Eartheater, puts his raw Texas pop/hip-hop/R&B edits through the wringer. After him, the celebrated French beatmaker Brodinski, icon of the French electro scene and, more recently, a globally in-demand hip-hop producer, switches uncompromisingly between the Kanyes and the Slikbacks of the world. Call Of Dirty's Stella K closes the night with a bang, while Fa:act takes control of the Witloof Bar, spinning nervous bass music.
