Anyone who believes that hip-hop and punk cannot go hand in hand is clearly yet to meet Uzi Freyja. Behind Uzi Freyja is Kelly Rose, who proves with her music that the punk spirit is alive and well in the hip-hop world. Freyja follows the tradition of hip-hop artists from the 1970s who used hip-hop to express counterculture and protest.
Thanks to her poetic lyrics, fast rhythms and rebellious style, she quickly made a name for herself in France. Now she is coming to Belgium to present her second album Bhelize Don't Cry at BLUEPRINT. Expect a performance that will do justice to her reputation: sharp as an Uzi, with a seductive power from the Norwegian goddess Freyja.
