'Levenslijn' (Dutch for lifeline) follows the personal story of Meike de Roest. She tries to dream again after years of severe illness, but discovers that to do so, you must first dare to live: from dancing bare in a nightclub, moving on the length of an IV wire, to shakily picking up a baritone saxophone again for the first time. Lifeline gives words and sounds to vulnerability, strength and life.
