From Athens to Brussels with love takes over atelier 210 for the first punk winter celebration.
Krista Papista (CY) and Elzo Durt (BE); two artists who love contemporary punk will present their meaning of the “PUNK” concept to you through two musical performances of modern times. Berlin-based Cypriot performer/composer and producer Krista offers a musical performance that attempts to resurrect the myth of the “bell ringer” ritual practiced by peasant witches in Cyprus and the Aegean islands. Carrying the bells of their lost sheep, they roam the mountain villages during the days of carnival which represent the release of the dark spirits of winter to welcome the rebirth of spring. Wherever the custom was lost, the transmission was done verbally and through drawings.
Papista's performance attempts to re-enact this tradition as a snippet from her latest album "Fucklore" which was released on Vinyl in 2023.

Elzo Durt (BE), known for his psychedelic electro techno dj sets heard in Brussels bars and raves since the 2000s, will make us dance hard for at least two hours, sharing with us his passion for psychedelic techno punk garage music.

Bora Bora (BE/GR) the curator of the event will of course be there with a dj set carefully curated for the occasion with a presentation of the artists in French and Greek!
