Kaat Van Stralen refuses to be put in a box. What started as an original solo project has grown into a genre-defying punk band, joined by Melvin Slabbinck (drums), Anton Robberechts (guitar), and Faust De Vogelaere (bass). Kaat herself takes on the vocals.
Strict but fair, Kaat calls all genres to account — from punk and psychedelia to alternative spoken word. Expect fiery linguistic noise, crackling beats, sharp guitar riffs, and thunderous bass lines.
Kaat Van Stralen claimed victory in the most recent edition of Sound Track Flemish Brabant, the talent development platform organized by VI.BE and Het Depot. In early 2025, she released her debut single ‘Stop Met Wenen’ — a punk rock anthem for all women, misfits, and feelers. With influences like Amyl & The Sniffers, Wet Leg, and Fiona Apple — but gloriously in Flemish — Kaat proves her unique style and voice.
