The new Bozar Bassment concert series pushes the boundaries of electronic and experimental music. Unusual international and local artists team up to shake the foundations of the Centre for Fine Arts. Below street-level, they present brand-new material in genre-defying live performances with visuals.
20:30 - 21:15
Victor De Roo (live)
Brussels-based musician Victor De Roo is as versatile as he is elusive: his music is dark yet danceable, blending influences from techno, new wave and trap to create a world of his own. Active since 2012, he produces solo or for artists such as Zwangere Guy, De Nooit Moede and Meetsysteem, with the common thread of creating sonic spaces in which he has to follow as few rules as possible. At Bozar, he takes you live through brand new work.

Amnesia Scanner (A/V live)
Since 2014, Finnish duo Amnesia Scanner has been exploring the alienating relationship between humans and technology through music and multimedia. The work of Ville Haimala and Martti Kalliala is an explosive mix of raw club music, avant-EDM and deconstructed pop, often accompanied by visuals full of strobe lights and colours. Together with digital artist Freeka Tet – known for his collaborations with Oneohtrix Point Never – they present their latest show S.L.O.T.H.. The show is a dense, hyper-sensory world of serrated beats, fractured glossolalia, slippery polyrhythms, and mangled vocal textures. This is paired with grotesque visual manipulations and sardonic gestures to create a weird performance language that is disorientating and uniquely compelling.
