De Fil et de Nature
until 03.11.2024
Six talented textile artists weave enchanting narratives at the heart of Le Botanique’s greenhouses. Like Penelope in the Odyssey, these young European creators aim to reconnect us with the living world through their intricate work. The exhibition showcases a new generation of women artists dedicated to reviving tapestry and textile art. From KRJST Studio's textured landscapes to Adeline Halot’s metallic forms and Charlotte Payet’s innovative use of plastic threads, each piece immerses us in a magnified vision of nature. Élise Péroi captures the essence of clouds with a large sail, while Elodie Antoine offers a poetic treasure hunt through hidden artworks. This exhibition boldly positions textile arts within the contemporary fine art landscape, celebrating their significance and potential.
